Job summary

Patricio Systems LLC in San Diego seeks an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead large-scale enterprise modernization in a public-sector setting. You will manage complex implementations, coordinate vendors and stakeholders, and drive projects from planning through go-live and stabilization.

The role requires executive communication, governance, risk management, and strict adherence to government regulations and cybersecurity standards, with onsite attendance in San Diego and availability

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible PM experience.
• 5+ years working within a local government environment.
• Experience leading large-scale enterprise technology implementation or modernization projects with budgets of $10M+.
• Experience coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams with stakeholders, vendors, and executives.
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies with executive reporting.
• Experience in public-sector, highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee large-scale enterprise technology modernization and system implementation projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams involving technical teams, stakeholders, vendors, consultants, and executive leadership.
• Establish and maintain project governance, reporting structures, and escalation procedures.
• Monitor scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and vendor performance.
• Oversee activities including requirements gathering, system integration, data migration, testing, training, cutover, and go-live.
• Coordinate cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and business continuity initiatives.
• Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and provide status reports and dashboards.
• Identify risks and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Manage vendor deliverables and implementation milestones.
• Coordinate change management and operational readiness.
