Job summary

Capio Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a large-scale IT modernization initiative in Sacramento, CA. The role involves hybrid Agile delivery, managing a multi-partner project, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery for a cloud-based solution replacing a 30-year-old legacy system.

The project requires 5+ years of IT software development PM experience, 3+ years on qualifying software implementations of at least $5M, and strong risk, scope and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of IT software development project management experience in the last ten years.
• At least three years as PM on one or more Qualifying Software Solution implementations with a $5M+ IT contract and 20+ internal users.
• Ability to provide client reference information and complete reference forms on request.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and overall management of project team performance.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget and deliverables.
• Engage with client Project Manager and executives to secure commitment and support.
• Identify and propose risk and issue resolution options with high value to the client.
