Job summary

Intellibee is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the State of Michigan’s DTMB EPMO for a multi-year high-priority project. The role requires in-person work 2 days a week and 3 days remote, with collaboration across DTMB, MGCB and agency executives.

The ideal candidate has extensive IT PM experience, strong governance and change management skills, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex deployments in a government environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT project management following industry standards and best practices.
• 7 years of delivering projects on time and on budget in formal PM roles.
• Experience establishing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, change requests, risk and issue logs.
• Experience using project portfolio management systems and tools (e.g., Clarity).
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Project.
• Experience handling multiple stakeholders and system owners from other departments.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Clarity to prepare project schedules, assign resources and manage budgets.
• Prepare information for presentations for executives, managers and team members.
• Monitor and communicate project progress focusing on cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality and risks.
• Maintain clear communications with sponsors, project team, program managers and management.
• Foster collaboration between technical and business teams and obtain consensus.
• Develop and maintain PMM deliverables: Charter, Schedule, Budget, Communications, Status, Risk/Issue, Change Requests, Closeout.
