Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION.

Working in- person at the office for 2 days Monday and Tuesday are required and the other 3 days remotely.

General Description: This position is for a Senior Project Manager (PM3) to assist the State of Michigan Project Management Office supporting Michigan Department of Corrections with high-priority projects. This role, as part of the DTMB Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), works closely with DTMB Agency Services technical teams as well as with agency executives/stakeholders in the delivery of various projects for Michigan Department of Corrections. The Project Manager will lead a variety of initiatives throughout the year. Projects may include, but are not limited to, technology implementations, organizational initiatives, procurement efforts, and RFP-driven projects within both Agile and traditional project delivery environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background, with demonstrated success leading large-scale, complex projects within government or other public sector organizations.

The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced, multi-vendor deployment supporting a hybrid workforce (combination of on-site and remote work) at all levels of the organization. Applicants should possess exceptional communication and follow up skills along with significant experience in formal IT project management. This position requires the PM to be working in person for 2 days a week and 3 days remote.
