Job summary

Chandra Technologies, Inc. is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to drive strategic IT initiatives for the State of Michigan's DTMB EPMO portfolio. The role requires onsite presence two days weekly and remote the rest, coordinating with multiple vendors and government stakeholders.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and change control across complex projects, ensuring governance and timely delivery within a large enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• 8+ years managing projects with budgets over $20 million.
• 8+ years IT projects in large, complex environments.
• Experience managing vendors/third-party providers.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience with government/public sector and multi-vendor setups.
• Experience PMing IT projects involving COTS and SaaS integrations.

Responsibilities

• Use Clarity to prepare schedules, assign resources, and manage budgets.
• Prepare presentations for executives, managers, and teams.
• Monitor progress: cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, risks.
• Communicate status clearly with project sponsors and stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.
• Manage interfaces with other agencies and ensure governance.
• Enforce Change Management and approve change requests.
• Align artifacts with business benefits and update them as needed.
• Review vendor contracts and oversee deliverables.
• Coordinate stakeholder expectations and ensure deliverables are completed.
