Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT Project Management experience in complex technology initiatives.
• Proven experience with technology decommissioning and/or data migration projects.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, data migration lifecycles.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical teams and cross-system dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management of Hadoop decommissioning from planning to final shutdown.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
• Coordinate migration activities involving Hadoop, Big Data, data platforms, apps, databases, and cloud environments.
• Identify applications, data, interfaces, jobs, users, and dependencies related to the Hadoop environment.
• Partner with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to establish migration/decommissioning strategies.
• Manage data/workload migration from Hadoop to target platforms; track remediation and validation.
• Establish RAID logs, project status reporting, and executive communications.
• Identify risks and dependencies and develop mitigation/contingency plans.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams to align with the project schedule; manage change control and deliverables.
• Facilitate meetings and executive status reviews; track KPIs and milestones.
