Job summary

Capio Group specializes in modernizing government IT systems and is seeking an experienced Solution/Cloud Architect to join our Sacramento team. You will drive architecture across the full development lifecycle, coordinate releases and integrations, and ensure security controls are embedded throughout the project.

This full-time role emphasizes hybrid/remote-friendly delivery, with a focus on scalable cloud platforms, data migration, and compliance.

Qualifications

At least 3 years leading full lifecycle solution/cloud architectures.
Experience delivering cloud-based modernization projects for large-scale government or enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of security, data protection, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversee all design, development, integration and implementation tasks and resources.
Lead Hybrid Agile development and manage program increments and backlogs.
Coordinate releases, APIs, and third-party integrations.
Manage data migration, security, testing and documentation across deliverables.
Lead day-to-day technical staff and resolve issues affecting release scope and quality.
Develop security design and enforce access controls and encryption measures.
