The Mississippi Department of Education is seeking experienced IT Project Managers to lead enterprise-wide technology initiatives supporting K-12 education systems. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensure PMI standard adherence, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver compliant IT solutions.

• Experience leading IT projects in accordance with PMI standards.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Hands-on SDLC management and enterprise project delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git and project tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee full project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Define scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Establish and maintain project management standards and best practices.
• Build and manage an Enterprise Project Portfolio and repository.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and report status to leadership.
• Identify risks, mitigation plans, and conduct benefit analysis.
• Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices and test docs.
