Job summary

TekWissen seeks an experienced Project Manager III to lead software and technology initiatives in Houston, onsite for a 12-month engagement. You will plan, execute, and report delivery following client IT PM methodologies, coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors.

You will oversee scope, schedule, and budget, manage risks, and communicate with executives, stakeholders, and staff to ensure successful implementation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience managing multiple, complex projects.
• Demonstrated success in building and leading project teams using both internal and external resources.
• Proficient in Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning & execution from initiation through implementation and close.
• Manage projects across diverse technology domains including client applications, infrastructure upgrades, data platforms, and digital transformation.
• Coordinate shared resources across projects to ensure effective allocation and prioritization.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitor budgets, and manage risks and issues.
• Provide regular status updates and communicate with executives and stakeholders.
