Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking an Information Technology Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple complex IT programs within the Delivery & Execution Office. This role requires steering scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business outcomes across multi-team initiatives in a hybrid California work model.

You will partner with senior leadership to drive strategic programs, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure secure, compliant delivery of critical grid and enterprise IT

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in IT project management.
• Experience managing activities of large, mid-to long-term IT projects.
• Experience in IT program management or large enterprise projects.
• Experience with IT portfolio management or product line management.
• Proficient with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid-Agile methodologies.
• Oversight of scope, schedule, budget, issues & risks; resource management.
• Experience managing large systems integrators.
• PMI/PM certification or equivalent preferable.
• Utility industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages one or more large, mid- to long-term IT projects with accountability for costs, methods and outcomes.
• Develops business plans, objectives and initiatives for the organization.
• Provides inputs to organizational objectives and ensures delivery of results.
• Regularly engages with senior management as a key consultant on critical issues.
• Directs Agile release planning and data migrations with minimal business disruption.
• Facilitates design and integration of CI/CD pipelines for enterprise-scale test automation.
• Leads large-scale Agile teams through full software development lifecycles.
• Protects the company’s data and cybersecurity assets with high integrity.
