Job description

The Senior Project Manager manages large and complex projects throughout the entire project lifecycle. Contributes to project operations and programs support including standardization, quality management, document management, methods creation and maintenance, process improvement and tools for the project management function. Has demonstrated execution of all project management disciplines, including but not limited to project prioritization, risk management, planning, resource management, budgeting and financial management, business case development, change management and value realization. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions that align with the company's strategic objectives.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

What You Will Do : Responsibilities :

  • Develop project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Develops comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation and budgeting. Chooses and executes appropriate project methodologies with limited supervision.
  • Lead and motivate large project teams across multiple departments, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities. Foster collaboration and effective communication among team members.
  • Identify and engage project stakeholders, including internal departments and external vendors. Maintain strong relationships and manage expectations. Oversee vendor relationships and contracts. Ensure vendors meet performance and delivery expectations.
  • Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans. Monitor and manage issues to ensure they are resolved promptly. Anticipates project challenges and proactively develops and executes mitigation plans.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to best practices. Conduct regular quality assessments and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and forecasts, track expenditures and ensure cost control. Provide accurate financial reports and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and adherence to timelines. Adjust project schedules as needed to accommodate changes or unforeseen issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, plans, status reports, and change requests. Effectively communicate project status, updates, and issues to all relevant stakeholders. Conduct regular project meetings and reporting.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate project success, identify lessons learned, and make recommendations for process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Related Field required
  • 5+ Years of experience as a Project Manager, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion. required
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (, Agile, Waterfall) and tools. required
  • Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis
  • Experience managing projects in one or more disciplines within IT – Infrastructure rollouts, application deployments (on-premise and SaaS), cybersecurity projects, etc.
  • Experience with multiple project methodologies and tools including waterfall, agile and hybrid methods.
  • Able to use Microsoft Office Applications
  • Certified Associate in Project Management - Project Management Institute preferred
  • Project Management Professional - Project Management Institute preferred

Physical Demands

This role is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role.
