Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking a Sr Project Manager IT to lead complex cross-functional technology initiatives from concept to delivery. The role requires coordinating scope, schedule, budget, dependencies, and risk across multiple projects simultaneously.

You will create detailed project plans, communicate status and risk to executives and stakeholders, and drive clear decisions. Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 5+ years PM experience.
• PMP/PMI-ACP/Scrum Master preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional technology projects; Jira/Confluence experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex IT projects and programs from initiation through delivery, managing scope, timelines, budget, risks, and outcomes.
• Develop and maintain clear project plans, status reports, risk/issue logs, dependency tracking, budget forecasts, and decision records.
• Create tailored materials for executives and stakeholders highlighting health, risks, decisions, and business impact.
• Build relationships across business and tech groups, fostering transparency and collaborative problem-solving.
• Facilitate productive meetings and executive updates to drive alignment and timely decisions.
• Lead or coordinate project team members, vendors, analysts, or other PMs to support delivery.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving, escalate risks appropriately, and recommend next steps.
• Handle additional duties as assigned
