LKQ Corp. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Sr Project Manager IT to lead cross-functional technology initiatives from conception through delivery.

You will define delivery plans, manage scope, schedule, budget, dependencies, and risks while guiding multiple teams and vendors to deliver measurable business outcomes. This role requires strong communication and the ability to present project health and decisions to executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring alignment across IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of related project management experience, including experience leading cross-functional technology projects.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex IT projects and programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring objectives, scope, timelines, budget, risks and outcomes are managed and communicated.
• Develop and maintain project plans, status reporting, risk/issue logs, action items tracker, communications plans, dependency tracking, budget forecasts, and decision records.
• Create materials and communicate project health, risks, tradeoffs, decisions, and business impact for executives, stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Build trusted relationships across business and technology groups, promote transparency, and drive collaborative problem-solving.
• Facilitate productive meetings and executive updates to drive alignment and timely decisions.
• Lead or coordinate work of team members, vendors, analysts, or project managers to support technology projects or programs.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and judgment in escalating risks, framing options, and recommending next steps.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

May set priorities, assign tasks, schedule and review work, and provide guidance, without responsibility to hire, terminate, conduct performance reviews, or make pay decisions.**Education & Experience*** Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.* 5+ years of related project management experience required, including experience leading cross-functional technology projects.**Preferred** **Requirements*** Project management certification such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master.* Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Copilot.* Experience with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, Visio, or similar tools.* Experience leading projects that involve business process change, systems integration, vendor coordination, or enterprise technology delivery.* Experience with program management.**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities*** Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
