Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company (HSB) seeks a Senior Business Project Manager to lead the business components of large IT initiatives in a hybrid work environment in Hartford, CT. The role emphasizes partnering with business and IT leaders, delivering measurable outcomes, and guiding changes across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in PM or business analysis, a Bachelor's degree, and PMO/leadership experience, with PMP certification preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.
• 8+ years of experience as a business or IT project manager and/or business analyst.
• PMP or PMI certification desired.
• Experience leading change and managing transitions is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a matrixed resource model and managing stakeholder expectations across divisions.
• Experience supporting complex data, analytics, reporting, BI, or AI initiatives is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and deliver complex IT projects on time and within budget using HSB methods.
• Develop integrated project plans, assign teams, track milestones, and adjust plans as needed.
• Document business requirements, designs, and specs for applications development.
• Coordinate resources, conduct quality reviews, and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Drive business readiness, training, and change management plans to ensure adoption.
• Track benefits realization and report on business value post-implementation.
