Job summary

Software Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact projects for the NC HealthConnex implementation within the HMS program. This role focuses on coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors to improve data exchange with NC Medicaid, funded under an APD.

The position requires extensive stakeholder management across internal divisions, vendors, and external state agencies, applying proven PM methodologies to deliver on program goals.

Qualifications

• Utilize healthcare claims expertise to clarify requirements, evaluate impacts, and track UAT issues.
• Provide project management oversight of vendor implementations to ensure contractual compliance.
• Develop integrated project plans and manage scope, schedule, requirements, risks, communication, and change control.
• Provide regular project reporting to stakeholders, including progress, risks, blockers, and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-impact technical projects associated with NC HealthConnex implementation.
• Collaborate with HMS Program Manager, HMS Program Lead, and implementation vendor to ensure successful execution.
• Engage with other payers to support claims and information exchange across state agencies.
