Job summary

BuzzClan is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact projects linked to NC HealthConnex enhancements for Medicaid data exchange. You will coordinate with HMS leadership, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant delivery.

The role requires expertise in healthcare claims, cross-functional collaboration, and strong stakeholder management across multiple divisions and agencies in a federally funded context.

Qualifications

• Must have healthcare claims expertise to clarify requirements, evaluate technical impacts, and track UAT issue resolution.
• Provide PM oversight of vendor implementation projects to ensure contractual compliance.
• Develop integrated project plans and manage scope, schedule, requirements, risks, communication, and change control.
• Provide regular project reporting, including progress, risks, blockers, and decisions for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-impact technical projects for NC HealthConnex implementation enhancements.
• Collaborate with HMS Program Manager, HMS Program Lead, and external vendors for project execution.
• Engage with other payers to support claims data exchange and related information sharing.
• Apply recognized project management methodologies and stakeholder management across divisions and agencies.
