Job summary

NC State University is seeking an IT Programmer Analyst Sr. to develop, maintain, and support the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Student Information System. You will work closely with Enrollment Management, the Graduate School, and campus offices to align technical solutions with institutional needs.

The role provides senior-level guidance to team members, leads complex initiatives, and ensures alignment with business requirements. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 2+ years of related experience or Bachelor’s with 3+ years of related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with traditional waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
• Ability to document technical specifications, root cause analysis and resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate change requests and define functional/technical specifications.
• Develop application code and system integrations for Campus Solutions.
• Develop and execute unit, system, and load test plans; provide production support.
