Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, IT Project Management to lead a team delivering complex technology initiatives that support business objectives and strategic transformation programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in IT/CS/Business/Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive IT project or program management experience.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience managing project or program management teams.
• Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional technology initiatives in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches.
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.

• Communicate project progress, key decisions, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.
• Facilitate governance meetings and steering committee reviews.
• Build strong cross‑functional relationships to ensure effective collaboration and decision‑making.
• Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, methodologies, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery effectiveness and efficiency.
• Implement project management tools, metrics, and reporting capabilities.
• Manage project budgets and resource allocation across the portfolio.
• Track expenditures, forecast costs, and ensure financial accountability.
• Support annual planning, budgeting, and capacity management activities.
• Evaluate vendor performance and manage external consulting engagements as needed.
