Job summary

Leidos seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead a large, technically complex IT program in energy efficiency and clean energy initiatives within a major utility environment. Based in Newark, New Jersey, the role requires onsite work three days per week (Tuesday through Thursday) and oversight of seven interdependent projects with 60+ team members.

You will be responsible for program delivery including schedule, scope, risks, dependencies, financial management, and executive communication,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or similar with 12+ years of experience.
• Experience leading large, multi-project technology programs with interdependent workstreams.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of seven interdependent projects and 60+ team members.
• Oversee objectives, schedules, budgets, and quality across projects.
• Manage a large program budget with forecasting and monthly reviews.
• Provide leadership to project managers, cross-functional teams, and vendors.
• Manage program risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and escalations.
• Deliver executive status updates and governance artifacts.
