Job summary

Leidos seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead a large IT program supporting energy efficiency initiatives within a major utility environment. You will oversee seven interdependent projects and more than 60 team members, providing leadership across project teams, IT organizations, and external partners.

The role is based in Newark, New Jersey, with onsite work three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday. Salary ranges from $175,000 to $185,000 annually, with comprehensive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or similar with 12+ years of experience.
• Experience leading large, multi-project technology programs with interdependent workstreams.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
• Excellent communication for executive-level presentations.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of seven interdependent projects with 60+ team members.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, scope, risks, and quality across the program.
• Provide executive status updates and manage vendor relationships.
• Drive governance, artifacts, and lifecycle deliverables.
