The role also involves negotiating contracts, coordinating proposals and budgets, and serving as the primary customer contact for program activities. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems related to IT requirements.
• Lead program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Coordinate preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and terms/conditions of contract.
• Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.
• Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
