Job summary

Cloud7Works, Inc. is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead delivery on federal IT programs in a secure government environment.

You will own end-to-end delivery—schedule, quality, staffing, and the client relationship—and you will run the delivery cadence, not just report on it. The role requires hands-on leadership, managing an agile backlog and sprint cadence, and coordinating staffing, risk management, and compliance across complex federal programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years managing IT programs or contracts of comparable scope and magnitude.
• Demonstrated ownership of performance metrics, deliverable acceptance, and corrective action.
• Availability 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday.
• U.S. citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a favorable federal background investigation for a public trust / IT-sensitive position (ADP/IT-II or higher)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of accountability to the government client for technical, schedule, and compliance outcomes
• Own the performance metrics framework and drive corrective action when thresholds slip
• Manage the deliverables calendar and quality-review gates before client submission
• Govern an agile backlog and sprint cadence aligned to federal acquisition frameworks
• Lead program stand-up and knowledge transfer during the initial ramp-up period
• Oversee Tier III production support against defined response-time commitments
• Maintain system authorization currency and continuous-monitoring obligations
• Enforce configuration and release management discipline across all delivered work products
• Direct teaming partners and enforce quality, workshare, and schedule commitments
• Own staffing plans, recruiting pipeline, retention, and backfill timelines
• Maintain the risk register and maintain early with an options set, not just a problem

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field — equivalent professional experience considered
• 10+ years managing IT programs or contracts of comparable scope and magnitude
• Demonstrated ownership of performance metrics, deliverable acceptance, and corrective action
• Availability 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday
