MidAmerican Energy Company is seeking an IT Project Manager/Sr IT Project Manager to lead large, complex information technology initiatives in Des Moines, IA. The role involves coordinating project teams, managing scope, budget and schedule, and providing strategic guidance to governance bodies and stakeholders.

The position requires extensive PM experience, leadership skills, and strong communication abilities to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of IT solutions across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Five+ years in IT or business-related activity, including two years in a technical/leadership role for PM level.
• Eight+ years in IT or business-related activity, including two years in senior leadership for Sr PM level.
• PM experience: ability to understand requirements and plan projects.
• Knowledge of IT terms, environments, budgets, and governance.
• PMP or other project management certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex IT initiatives and oversee delivery on time, within budget and scope.
• Manage scoping, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and risk for multiple projects.
