Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Senior IT Product Owner in the Springdale area to collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams. You will help define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives, and support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and UAT to drive product development and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience is required.
• 3+ years of relevant or practical experience.
• Preferred IT Certification(s) in IT or product management.

Responsibilities

• Product Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
• User Feedback Analysis: Gather and analyze user feedback through surveys, interviews, and usability testing to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
• Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, including current and future state process maps.
• Product Planning: Help create and maintain the product roadmap, define features and release timelines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with design, engineering, marketing, and sales for alignment.
• Feature Prioritization: Prioritize features based on user impact, business value, and feasibility.
• Project Coordination: Manage activities, milestones, and timelines to meet scope and deadlines.
• Documentation: Create user stories, specifications, and release notes for stakeholders.
• Testing and Validation: Support UAT and ensure features meet quality expectations.
• Performance Monitoring: Define KPIs and track product performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Iterate features based on user feedback and data.
• Learning and Development: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Customer Support: Assist customer-facing teams with product-related inquiries.
• Team Collaboration: Share knowledge and best practices with peers.
