Job summary

Motion IT is seeking an IT Product Owner IV in Birmingham, AL (and Atlanta, GA) to define the product vision, gather customer and stakeholder needs, and drive the development roadmap.

You will manage backlogs, coordinate sprints, prioritize features, and mentor cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software from idea to end of life. You will collaborate with business owners and stakeholders to align timelines and goals.

You must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and eight (8) or more years of related experience.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft FSCM functional experience (AR, AP, GL, Billing, ePro, Asset Management, Cash Management, or Project Costing).

Responsibilities

• Manages the most complex products through the entire lifecycle and supports enhancements until End of Life.
• Makes key decisions for product/solution development lifecycle processes across the organization.
• Contributes to program risk management plans and drives mitigation.
• Advocates to drive cross-functional program metrics.
• Designs program management practices and mentors other product managers.
• Reviews and prioritizes backlog for sprint planning and coordinates dependencies.
• Analyzes impacts of proposed solutions and develops use cases for IT teams.
• Owns, develops and executes the product roadmap.
• Collaborates with business owners, product scrum team, and stakeholders to set timelines and goals.
• Participates in design sessions to understand end-user and customer needs.
