Job summary

Candidates should have college coursework in business or purchasing and at least two years' purchasing experience, including contract compliance and interpreting procurement rules.

Qualifications

• Two years of purchasing experience including contract compliance.
• Experience interpreting procurement rules or related area.
• CJIS security and privacy certification required before exposure to CJIS data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT procurement activities for equipment, materials, services and supplies.
• Review contract information to determine data needed for annual purchase orders.
• Enter information into the City’s electronic procurement system and liaise across departments.
