Job summary

Agile Defense is seeking an IT Portfolio Management Analyst in Arlington, VA to support a federal law enforcement agency. You will evaluate IT investment requests, build BCAs, and align investments with agency goals. The role requires delivering clear analyses, collaborating with stakeholders, and guiding transitions through the SDLC.

The candidate should have extensive IT budgeting knowledge, FP&A acumen, and strong communication abilities to operate in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years consulting/industry experience or educational training.
• 4+ years IT-related experience across multiple disciplines.
• Knowledge of BPA, BCA and AoA methodologies.
• Familiarity with ITAR and SCRM frameworks.
• Expert proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

Responsibilities

• Support USMS IT Investment Management (ITIM) activities for best-value IT investments.
• Collaborate with end users and SMEs to create BCA and BPA analyses.
• Redesign processes to reduce pain points and improve productivity.
• Conduct market research, AoA analyses, cost-benefit, and risk assessments.
• Provide thought leadership to improve customer service and information access.
• Assist stakeholders with solicitation requirements and SDLC transition.
