Job summary

NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER is seeking a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) to lead IT planning and policy activities. This role requires coordinating IT information, proposing innovative IT solutions, and ensuring compliance with governing policies to improve logistics and informational systems.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience at the GS-13 level or equivalent and a strong ability to present ideas to management, analyze policies, and evaluate system performance across Navy

Qualifications

• Specialized experience at GS-13 level or equivalent.
• Collect IT information for the command.
• Present IT ideas to associates, management, and higher authorities to change/improve procedures.
• Interpret and apply policies, processes and guidelines to analyze, provide advice, and recommend solutions.
• Evaluate supply and logistics system performance.
• Ensure work products meet organizational goals by complying with established policies and standards.
