Qualifications

• Experience managing third-party vendors and implementation partners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent projects from initiation through completion using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methods.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and delivery outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional teams including stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
• Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, governance, and resource strategies.
• Coordinate requirements reviews, dependencies, scheduling, and resource coordination.
• Provide executive-level communications on progress, risks, issues, decisions, and recommendations.
• Identify and mitigate risks and roadblocks to protect scope, timelines, and quality.
• Drive accountability and facilitate decision-making to achieve objectives.
• Lead stakeholder communications, sessions, governance, and steering committee reviews.
• Support Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to PM methodologies, governance, and reporting requirements.
• Manage change requests, deployment planning, and post-go-live support.
• Oversee vendor relationships and contractual obligations.
• Support organizational readiness and change management activities.
• Conduct post-project reviews and lessons-learned sessions.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex business and technology initiatives from planning through implementation. This individual will be responsible for driving project execution, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent projects from initiation through completion utilizing Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and overall delivery outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional teams consisting of business stakeholders, technical resources, vendors, consultants, and external partners.
• Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, governance structures, and resource strategies aligned with business goals.
• Facilitate project planning activities including requirements reviews, dependency management, scheduling, and resource coordination.
• Provide executive-level communications regarding project progress, risks, issues, decisions, and recommendations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and roadblocks to minimize impacts on scope, timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Drive accountability across teams and facilitate decision-making to achieve project objectives.
• Lead stakeholder communications, working sessions, governance meetings, and steering committee reviews.
• Support Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives where appropriate.
• Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies, governance standards, and reporting requirements.
• Manage change requests, implementation planning, deployment activities, and post-go-live support efforts.
• Oversee vendor and third-party partner relationships to ensure contractual and delivery obligations are met.
• Support organizational readiness and change management activities to drive successful adoption of new processes and technologies.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required.

Experience

• 7+ years of project management experience leading complex business and technology initiatives.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with varying levels of complexity and organizational impact.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments.
• Prior healthcare industry experience preferred but not required.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and implementation partners preferred.

Certifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
• Agile certifications such as CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive results without direct authority.

Compensation
