Job summary

Intone Inc is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for a remote, long-term contract (12+ months) to lead enterprise IT initiatives in a Waterfall environment. The role emphasizes financial oversight, vendor coordination, and stakeholder management across software development, applications, and systems integration.

You will create and manage detailed project plans in Microsoft Project/Project Server, oversee budgets, forecast resources, and ensure governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT project management experience.
• Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry experience.
• Proven Waterfall project delivery experience.
• Experience managing software development, application development, and systems integration projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project / Project Server, including effort-driven and auto-scheduled planning.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Delivery of multiple IT projects with budgets of $150K or greater.
• Strong project financial management skills, including forecasting and budget reconciliation.
• Vendor management experience, including RFP processes, SOW negotiation, and contract execution.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and work with matrixed teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT projects from initiation through completion, including software development, application development, and systems integration initiatives
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans using Microsoft Project / Project Server, including effort-driven and auto-scheduled scheduling
• Oversee project budgets of $150K and above, including forecasting, budget reconciliation, and tracking actuals against plan
• Manage vendors throughout the project lifecycle, including RFP processes, SOW negotiation, and execution
• Coordinate across multiple concurrent projects and matrixed team structures
• Monitor project progress, risks, and issues; communicate status and variances to stakeholders
• Ensure projects adhere to Waterfall methodology and organizational governance standards
