Job summary

the company is seeking a Senior IT Systems/Platform Engineer to own hands-on delivery across identity, endpoint, and network infrastructure for a globally distributed workforce in the SF Bay Area. The role emphasizes production ownership, autonomy, and an AI-first mindset.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, drive IaC practices, and maintain strong async communication across time zones. In-office presence required three days per week in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 8+ years enterprise IT platform or systems engineering experience in a high-growth, fast-paced technology company.
• Hands-on Okta or modern enterprise IAM platform proficiency in production environments.
• Hands-on IAM/IGA experience including SCIM provisioning and JML workflow automation.
• Infrastructure as code in practice with Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible at enterprise scale.
• Multi-cloud platform engineering experience across at least two of AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Endpoint engineering proficiency including MDM fleet management (macOS/Windows) with policy enforcement and zero-touch provisioning.
• Experience in SOX, HIPAA, or other compliance-regulated environments.
• Strong async communication across timezones; Jira/Confluence for agile workflows.
• On-call rotation participation for critical IT infrastructure incidents.

Responsibilities

• Own hands-on platform and systems engineering delivery across the global IT stack: identity, endpoint, browsers/SASE, network infra.
• Contribute to enterprise identity program (Okta, SCIM, JML) as a full contributing engineer.
• Own global endpoint engineering (MDM, policy enforcement, device lifecycle).
• Support and maintain network infrastructure with the Network-as-a-Service partner across global offices.
• Escalation point for Global IT support with documentation.
• Drive IaC practices with Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent across the full IT stack.
• Operate as a strong async contributor in a distributed global team with Jira/Confluence discipline.
