Job summary

Florida East Coast Railway seeks a Senior Network Technician to support, maintain, and optimize IT and OT network infrastructure across our railroad network in Florida.

You will work on LAN/WAN/WLAN, security, and disaster recovery, collaborating with engineering and cybersecurity teams. 35% travel is required; on-site presence at multiple field locations is expected. Proficiency in English and Spanish is required, with CCNA certification mandatory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting enterprise, industrial, or transportation networks.
• CCNA required; CCNP, Fortinet certs, or CompTIA Network+ preferred.
• Spanish: Advanced; English: Advanced (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT and OT network infrastructure.
• Support LAN, WAN, WLAN, and industrial networks across locations.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and OT equipment.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security with enterprise tools.
• Coordinate with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and vendors.
• Travel frequently to FEC operational and field locations; participate in on-call support.
