This highly visible role serves as the technical authority during customer engagements, helping translate complex operational, electrical, structural, and environmental requirements into innovative E-House solutions that are technically sound, commercially viable, manufacturable, transportable, and scalable.

The E-House Solution Architect will work closely with customers, sales teams, engineering organizations, manufacturing facilities, and project execution teams to define and deliver differentiated solutions that drive customer success and support Schneider Electric's growth in the rapidly expanding modular power infrastructure market.

Responsibilities
  • Lead technical customer engagements, workshops, design reviews, and solution validation discussions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to utilities, EPCs, industrial customers, renewable energy developers, data center operators, and infrastructure organizations.
  • Translate customer requirements into integrated E-House architectures that balance technical performance, commercial objectives, manufacturability, transportation constraints, and lifecycle value.
  • Define complete modular power infrastructure solutions incorporating electrical, structural, mechanical, HVAC, safety, automation, and digital systems.
  • Develop E-House concepts including equipment layouts, structural designs, transportation strategies, lifting methodologies, environmental controls, and installation considerations.
  • Evaluate and optimize equipment placement, weight distribution, cable routing, access requirements, maintainability, and structural load paths.
  • Architect HVAC and environmental control solutions to ensure reliable operation of critical electrical equipment.
  • Support integration of fire detection, fire suppression, personnel safety, and environmental monitoring systems.
  • Lead technical solution development for strategic proposals, bids, and tender opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales, tendering, engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to create differentiated and competitive solutions.
  • Assess technical, commercial, operational, and execution risks while developing customer solutions.
  • Define and support integration of SCADA, PLC, communication, automation, power monitoring, and digital power architectures.
  • Support proof-of-concept initiatives, pilot programs, and technical demonstrations for new technologies and solution approaches.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, customer specifications, and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the development of E-House best practices and solution standards.

  • Demonstrated experience designing, architecting, or supporting E-House, modular substation, packaged substation, power distribution center (PDC), integrated power center (IPC), or similar modular infrastructure solutions.
  • Experience working directly with customers, EPCs, consultants, utilities, or industrial end users.
  • Experience supporting technical proposals, bids, tendering activities, or pre-sales solution development.
  • Strong understanding of structural and mechanical considerations associated with modular power infrastructure, including transportation, lifting, rigging, seismic design, load analysis, thermal management, and constructability.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, environmental controls, and safety systems used within critical power infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards such as NEMA, IEC, IEEE, ANSI, NFPA, and applicable building codes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications
