Job summary

WA Department of Children, Youth, and Families seeks an IT Network and Telecommunications Senior Manager to lead IT operations, network services, infrastructure, and platform reliability in a hybrid Olympia setting. Qualifications

Ten (10) years of progressive IT experience leading enterprise IT operations and infrastructure functions.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, networking, information systems or a related field; AND six (6) years in IT operations leadership in high risk environments.
Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of service.

Responsibilities

Oversee enterprise IT operations and infrastructure functions.
Develop and execute IT operations strategies aligned with agency goals.
Lead modernization initiatives across infrastructure, networking, cloud, automation, and AI-enabled operations.
Build workforce capabilities and foster an inclusive, accountable work environment.
Communicate technology strategies and risks clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
