Job summary

The State of Washington Dept of Children, Youth, and Families seeks a Senior Manager of IT Operations in Olympia (Hybrid) to lead enterprise IT operations, including network services, infrastructure, systems administration, and platform reliability.

You will partner with executive leaders and statewide agencies to drive modernization, evaluate emerging technologies, ensure security and resilience, and align technology services with DCYF priorities and mission.

Qualifications

• Ten years of IT leadership in enterprise operations.
• Experience in high-risk/high-impact IT environments.
• Ability to learn and grow; meet the needs of others.
• Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of service.
• Experience with IT contracting rules and enterprise procurement.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and direction for enterprise IT operations across network services, infrastructure, and platform reliability.
• Drive modernization efforts, evaluate emerging technologies, and ensure services support DCYF’s mission.
• Lead IT operations with a focus on security, resilience, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cyber security teams to manage operational risk and incident response.
• Develop and execute long-range IT strategies aligned with DCYF business objectives.
