Job summary

Talanto is seeking a hands-on IT Engineer to support IT operations, endpoint management, and cross-domain networking across multiple sites. The role requires the ability to troubleshoot endpoints, configure firewalls, and assist in setting up secure enclaves for data transfers between classifications.

A strong background in enterprise IT and security is essential, including experience with air-gapped environments.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years in IT engineering, systems administration, and/or network engineering with senior-level support and hands-on build-out.
• Experience with enterprise network hardware and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Experience securing and supporting classified or air-gapped networks and cross-domain data transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end IT operations support from help desk to escalations.
• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, and VPN across multiple sites.
• Harden networks per DISA STIGs and RMF/ATO processes; monitor performance and perform upgrades.
