Job summary

Brilliant® seeks a Senior Network Architect to lead design, security, and modernization of enterprise infrastructure across cloud and on‑premises environments. You will own network architecture strategy, set technical standards, and drive large-scale initiatives focused on reliability, scalability, and Zero Trust.

This onsite Denver role requires Azure networking expertise, SD-WAN, VPN, MPLS/IPVPN, and hands-on IaC with Terraform.

• Define standards for routing, switching, firewalls, remote access, and network security.
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver infrastructure through Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Lead infrastructure modernization, migrations, and integration projects.
• Evaluate technologies, vendors, and service providers.
• Provide technical leadership, architectural governance, and expert-level troubleshooting.

Job Location: Onsite in Denver, CO

Overview

We are seeking a senior Cloud, Data Center & Network Security Architect to lead the design, security, and modernization of enterprise infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. This individual will own network architecture strategy, establish technical standards, and drive large-scale infrastructure initiatives focused on reliability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain enterprise cloud, network, and security architectures.
• Lead Azure networking, hybrid connectivity, network segmentation, and Zero Trust initiatives.
• Architect LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Internet, VPN, and data center networking solutions.
• Define standards for routing, switching, firewalls, remote access, and network security.
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver infrastructure through Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Lead infrastructure modernization, migrations, and integration projects.
• Evaluate technologies, vendors, and service providers.
• Provide technical leadership, architectural governance, and expert-level troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise networking, cloud infrastructure, and/or network security.
• 5+ years in a network or cloud architecture role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure networking and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, routing, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, segmentation, and enterprise networking.
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and secure remote access solutions.
• Experience with SD-WAN, ExpressRoute, MPLS/IPVPN, and enterprise WAN design.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Git, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust and modern cybersecurity principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, Private Link, and hybrid cloud experience.
• Cisco Catalyst and/or Meraki experience.
• Multi-cloud experience (AWS preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, PCNSE, CCNP/CCIE, or CISSP.
