Job summary

Sunset Studios seeks a Senior IT Manager to lead IT operations across a defined business area, ensuring reliable, secure technology aligned with enterprise standards and local needs. You will manage IT staff, delivery, and vendor partnerships while tailoring solutions for production and corporate workflows.

Responsibilities include directing daily IT activities, budgets, VIP support, and enterprise infrastructure alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

8–10 years of progressive IT experience across service delivery, infrastructure, collaboration platforms, and enterprise applications.
Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Proven experience leading IT teams, including staff management, workload prioritization, and performance development.
Experience tracking and reporting IT budgets and spend, and coordinating with leadership on financial planning.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, Outlook, Copilot, SharePoint), Azure AD/Hybrid AD, Intune or equivalent MDM/MAM platforms, and Zoom.
Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure components (servers, networks, phone systems) and building management systems.
Familiarity with client-facing IT service models, revenue services, and operational support in technology-driven environments.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with experience supporting VIP and C-Level executives.
ITIL v4 certification desired; Microsoft or CompTIA certifications a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings/weekends, to support critical operations.

Responsibilities

Lead IT staff, overseeing daily operations, scheduling, workload distribution, and staff development.
Serve as the primary IT leader for the assigned business area, aligning IT initiatives with operational goals, workflows, and client demands.
Track IT budgets and operational spend, providing reporting and accountability for projects and services within the area.
Coordinate with central IT leadership on vendor engagement, contracts, and service providers, ensuring local needs are addressed within enterprise agreements.
Own the lifecycle, service delivery, and client satisfaction for area-specific IT services, such as Studios ISP and production technology services, and corporate building management systems.
Act as the senior escalation point for VIP and C-Level executives within the area, ensuring discreet, responsive support.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies, SOX requirements, and corporate standards across all technologies.
Provide technical leadership for enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring successful rollout, adoption, and integration.
Partner with Engineering teams on infrastructure initiatives, contributing subject matter expertise and supporting advanced troubleshooting.
Mentor and develop IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Track and report on IT service performance, client satisfaction, and operational effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
