Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Information Technology to lead a multifaceted IT organization, directing delivery of robust, scalable systems that support business goals.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to set IT strategy, drive innovation, and ensure security and reliability across operations. You will manage multiple agile teams, mentor leaders, and optimize budgets while aligning IT initiatives with Tyson’s strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT management or related experience.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field preferred.
• Any relevant IT Certification.

Responsibilities

• Agile Execution: Facilitate scrum practices focusing on technical delivery.
• Broader Oversight: Manage a large team or multiple small teams, providing guidance and support.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership: Define IT strategy and roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Culture Driver: Foster a positive and innovative IT culture aligned with organizational values.
• Drive Strategic IT Initiatives: Lead strategic IT initiatives with measurable impact.
• Lead and Develop Teams: Guide multiple IT teams across specialties.
• Manage Stakeholder and Vendor Relationships: Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and vendors.
• Mentorship & Development: Mentor team leads and managers on advanced techniques.
• Operations Excellence: Drive improvements and optimize budgets and resources.
• Oversee Complex Projects: Ensure timely delivery and quality across large programs.
