Job summary

BlueTeam, a US-based provider of disaster recovery, remediation and roofing services, seeks a Sr. Manager of Information Technology to lead development, architecture, infrastructure and security for expanding operations.

You will mentor a small IT team, manage budgets, vendor relationships, and coordinate with external partners to drive strategic initiatives and robust disaster recovery planning. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with iOS and Android operating systems.
• Experience with Cloud computing architecture, protocols and practices.
• Vendor selection and management across diverse technology solutions, incl. SOWs, RFPs, budgeting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• High level of organization and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assess current processes and define best practices based on business needs and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare the technology organization for scalable growth—architecture, development, infrastructure, people, processes, SLAs and SOPs.
• Drive current state assessment and process improvements.
• Direct development and execution of an information security plan to protect company data.
• Direct disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Formulate and administer IT policies; coordinate department activities to meet long-range goals.
• Develop operational strategies, long-range plans, annual operating plans and budgets.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and evaluate their value to the organization.
• Provide technical guidance to users and leadership.
• Set up, troubleshoot, and repair computers in a networked environment; maintain inventory.
• Promote integration of current tech and dissemination of information.
• Schedule upgrades to minimize downtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
