Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Senior IT Manager in Waukegan, IL to lead a multi-site IT organization, drive ERP/CRM systems, and advance automation across our distribution and manufacturing environment.

The role requires 5–8+ years of IT leadership, hands-on NetSuite ERP and Salesforce experience, and a strong background in infrastructure, cybersecurity, and system integration. On-site, Mon-Thu at the distribution center, with a strategic roadmap for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5-8+ years of progressively responsible IT leadership experience in complex, multi-site environments
• Minimum 3 years managing and developing IT teams
• At least 2 years hands-on experience administering or managing NetSuite ERP
• Proven experience managing CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and end-user support
• Expertise with EDI, eCommerce platforms, and complex systems integration
• Experience supporting hybrid IT environments including on-premises and cloud infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team while fostering a positive culture
• Manage the full IT ecosystem including NetSuite ERP, CRM, eCommerce, EDI, cybersecurity, and infrastructure
• Collaborate across departments to identify automation opportunities and implement AI-driven solutions
• Oversee system upgrades, integrations, support services, and vendor relationships
• Establish and monitor SLAs and KPIs, reporting progress regularly to leadership
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex technical challenges and maintain system performance
• Develop and execute multi-year IT roadmaps aligned with business objectives and growth initiatives
• This role is ideal for a motivated IT leader who thrives on both strategic planning and hands-on involvement
