Job summary

Limiting Factor Group (LFG) designs, builds and manages power infrastructure for compute systems and utility providers. The IT Lead will run the company’s internal technology, acting as the first dedicated IT hire responsible for daily support and long-term system and security design.

You will own end-user computing, security programs, and IT operations across sites, partnering with the Networking Engineer and leadership to align tech with business goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in IT, including sole or lead responsibility for IT at a company or site.
• Experience with identity management tools (Okta, Microsoft Entra or Google Workspace).
• Experience with device management tools (Jamf or Intune).
• Experience supporting employees across more than one location.
• Practical knowledge of IT security controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage laptops, phones, user accounts, single sign-on, email and business software.
• Set up accounts and equipment for new hires and remove access when people leave.
• Run IT security: multi-factor authentication, device management, endpoint protection, backups and security awareness training.
• Manage office and site networks, Wi-Fi and conferencing equipment with the Networking Engineer.
• Provide help desk support to employees at both sites.
• Manage IT vendors, software licenses and the IT budget.
• Support access and integrations for finance and HR systems.
• Prepare for customer security questionnaires and audits.
