Job summary

Limiting Factor Group (LFG) designs, builds and manages power infrastructure for compute systems and utility providers. The Electrical Engineer designs and supports electrical power systems for data centers and power generation sites, from HV/MV utility connections to LV equipment.

You will work on new site designs, expansions and upgrades, and stay involved through design, construction, testing and handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (required).
• 5+ years designing power systems for data centers, industrial plants or other critical facilities.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and relevant IEEE standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and review medium- and low-voltage power distribution: substations, transformers, switchgear, generators, BESS, UPS and busway.
• Prepare and review single-line diagrams, load calculations, short-circuit, coordination and arc flash studies.
• Write equipment specifications and review supplier submittals.
• Coordinate with local utilities on interconnection and service capacity.
• Manage outside electrical design firms and review their work.
• Support construction, factory and site acceptance testing, and commissioning.
