Job summary

Usherwood Office Technology in Hooksett, NH is seeking an experienced IT Project Engineer to join our IT Projects Team. This hands-on role focuses on implementing technology solutions across diverse client environments, including network infrastructure deployments, server and virtualization projects, and cloud migrations.

You will manage onboarding of new managed IT clients, perform migrations and upgrades, configure firewalls, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, and maintain thorough documentation while traveling

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional IT infrastructure experience in MSP or similar.
• Hands-on with Windows Server and Microsoft infrastructure.
• Experience deploying network infrastructure and cloud tech.
• Ability to read SOWs and work from designs.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Implement and complete infrastructure projects for clients.
• Deploy and configure firewalls, switches, wireless, servers, and cloud tech.
• Migrate and upgrade Windows Server, AD, M365, Azure.
• Prepare and test equipment before deployment.
• Maintain project documentation and progress tracking.
• Travel to client locations for onsite deployments.
