Job summary

Northeastern University is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to drive large-scale IT projects across departments. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget while aligning to business value and user needs.

The role is hybrid with on-site presence in the Boston office three days per week. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Project management training/certification (PMP, Agile, PRINCE2) preferred.
• 10-15 years IT experience with 8-10 years in IT project management.
• Experience delivering enterprise-level tech projects (CRM, ERP, infra, data integration, cloud).
• 7-9 years engaging with business units & exec stakeholders to translate needs into plans.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple large IT projects across departments.
• Develop detailed project plans, milestones, scope, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Ensure on-time, on-scope, on-budget delivery with high quality.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Communicate with senior leadership and manage stakeholder expectations.
