Job summary

City Of Goodyear is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Leader to supervise the Infrastructure Division, directing staff, budgets, and project execution for city networks, data centers, storage, and servers. The role ensures security, reliability, and recoverability of critical IT systems and services.

Responsibilities include project management, vendor oversight, and development of security policies, backup procedures, and disaster recovery plans in alignment with city goals.

Qualifications

• Requires broad knowledge in a professional/technical field and a four-year college degree.
• Minimum five years of related experience.
• Valid Driver's License; ability to meet FBI CJIS background requirements.
• Reading: technical manuals and troubleshooting docs.
• Math: basic arithmetic and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the Security & Infrastructure Division staff and projects.
• Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Manage contractor and vendor relationships and project implementations.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures for IT systems.
• Promote City-wide security awareness and disaster recovery readiness.
• Establish project management methodologies and reporting for senior IT leadership.
