Job summary

E Tech Group seeks an IT Infrastructure Engineer to co-own the Microsoft 365 and on‑prem infrastructure, including identity management, security posture, and virtualization environments. You will support ~900 users and collaborate with the IT team to deliver reliable service across our organization.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience, strong AD/OS skills, and experience with Entra ID, Intune, and security hardening.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on IT infrastructure or systems administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Core technical experience with Active Directory, MS Operating Systems, virtualization, and backup systems (cloud, Windows, Linux, and virtual workloads).
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including conditional access and hybrid identity.
• Working knowledge of PowerShell for administration and automation.
• Experience with ticketing systems and meeting SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain AD (users/groups/GPOs/OUs/DNS) including health checks and migrations.
• Manage identity and access in Microsoft Entra ID with conditional access and MFA enforcement.
• Administer Windows Server and client OS; patching, hardening, GPOs, PowerShell, lifecycle management.
• Manage Windows endpoints via Intune, Autopilot, and Windows Autopatch; ensure configs and security.
• Maintain VMware vSphere/ESXi and Hyper‑V environments; host setup, clustering, provisioning, snapshots.
• Oversee backup and recovery across on-prem, virtual, and cloud workloads; lifecycle and recovery validation.
• Administer email security and mail flow; anti-phishing/spam policies and rules.
• Apply best practices and vendor hardening guides across systems and services.
• Respond to end-user requests via ticketing system; escalate as needed and meet SLAs.
• Mentor teammates and share knowledge; evaluate emerging technologies for security and efficiency.
• Travel between company sites for maintenance windows as needed.
