Job summary

StratusGrid is seeking a senior hands‑on engineer to own and evolve the internal technology foundation, enabling secure, scalable work across an all‑macOS staff. You will drive IT ownership, automation, and security tooling while improving AWS infrastructure with Terraform and Git workflows.

Responsibilities include onboarding/offboarding, identity management with Okta, macOS device lifecycle (Mosyle), security operations, and vendor/ SaaS management.

Qualifications

• Senior‑level IT and infrastructure experience across corporate IT, identity, endpoints, SaaS, security operations, cloud, and automation.
• Ability to automate with Python/TypeScript/shell, testable code, logging and docs.
• Use of AI agents to investigate problems, automate workflows, and document processes.
• Hands‑on AWS infrastructure work and Terraform pull requests.
• Okta identity, SSO, MFA, lifecycle and least privilege patterns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own internal IT and infrastructure systems, tooling, and documentation for StratusGrid staff.
• Build and maintain tools, prompts, runbooks, and context for AI agents performing IT/security work.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding, access management, and device lifecycle with automation.
• Design and maintain Okta as central identity layer and automation hub.
• Manage macOS device lifecycle with Mosyle; automate deployments and patching.
• Operate security tooling, triage alerts, remediate vulnerabilities, and improve responses via automation.
• Improve internal AWS infra with Terraform and secure Git workflows.
• Administer SaaS systems; manage renewals, ownership, and risk records.
• Maintain SOC 2 II and GDPR controls with evidence collection and automation.
• Build system health, access, posture, incidents, and compliance reporting.
