Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) seeks a Technical Project Manager to lead Inside Plant and Outside Plant IT projects for the US Coast Guard IT Services team in Chesapeake, VA. Qualifications

US citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of inside plant operation and maintenance experience, including installation, testing, and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems.
Pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

Review and correct deficiencies in technical drawings and system diagrams.
Provide technical solutions to resolve installation discrepancies.
Install, test, maintain, and repair fiber, copper, and coaxial cabling.
Develop material and equipment requirements and cost estimates.
Coordinate with drafters to complete project drawings and packages.
Support cost estimates and diagrams; assist with project documentation.
Lead or contribute to projects in a team environment and communicate effectively.
