Job summary

Les Olson IT is seeking an experienced Engineer 3 to serve as a senior technical resource within our Managed IT Services practice. You will design, deploy, and support complex on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments while mentoring junior engineers.

This role leads projects, improves automation, and acts as Tier 3 escalation, driving security, continuity, and operational excellence for diverse client environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with hands-on infra, cloud, and systems engineering.
• Experience designing on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Ability to mentor and lead technical projects.
• Strong customer-facing consulting and communication skills.
• Proven ability to identify operational inefficiencies and create sustainable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot complex on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Lead infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, and security projects.
• Mentor Engineer 1 and Engineer 2 teams through coaching.
• Identify systemic issues and drive automation for reliability.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation and trusted technical advisor.
